I had ordered other collars from other companies and they were too big despite the description. this was true to the size described in the catalog and very adjustable. the only negative is that the number of personalization spaces was limited.

from Baltimore,MD on 02/20/2009The collar is still a little big too big-but since my dog is still a puppy im sure she will grow into it.I am disappointed about the writing on the collar- it does look cheap,i got the black with white letters, but i guess for that price it's ok.

I was disappointed that the maximum letter count was reduced from 15 to 12 for the small size, making it impossible to put both name and phone number on them. Also the black lettering does not stand out against the strong colors of the collars. I wish I'd known to choose white.

from Alexandria VA on 11/06/2008I got the collar because I was taking a full grown untrained German Shepherd to the dog park for the first time...the park is enclosed but there are some gaps. She was not fully trained to recall to me so I wanted a nice clear collar where anyone who saw her could see her name and my number from a distance. Most people are not too anxious to grab the collar of a strange large dog. Fortunately, she stayed close but the collar served its purpose.
