Finally I can enjoy walking with my dog and my dog is happy as I am.
No more pulling, and when he does, it's easily corrected.
I've tried so many harnesses and leads for pulling and none of them worked....the tighter it got the harder the dog would pull.
This does not happen anymore....well, unless there is a tree that is important to read maybe...but, the walk itself is enjoyable now.
from Chatham, NJ on 05/01/2009This product makes walking my young dog a joy. He doesn't mind the harness, and I feel it is much healthier than the choke collar or prong collar that I had used on our previous dog. It does take a bit of concentration to get the harness on correctly.

from Rogers, AR on 01/09/2009I bought two gentle leaders for our big dogs. They love to walk or rather walk us. I hoped that this would help curb their pulling. And, I am happy to say, it really does work ! We are completely satisfied and I would recommend these gentle leaders to anyone who is tired of their dog "walking them". Both of our girls don't seem to mind, it - as it is a bit different than a harness, but easy to use and is so much more pleasant on our walks.
from Winchester, VA on 11/28/2008Walking Livia used to be a tug of war sometimes, because she's a very strong, 50 pound dog. However, from the moment I put this harness on her, she hasn't once: pulled the leash; tugged the leash; or bolted and yanked hard enough to pull me down. Running into squirrels is no longer a terrifying prospect. She's as calm on the leash now as she is at home.

Now, by putting the stronger bull dog mix pup on the harness he is reminded that I am in control (well, sort of). I enjoy being able to take the 2 of them out together instead of leaving one behind.

from Richmond, VA on 10/30/2008Your dog strains, jerks and ends up choking, you admonish repeatedly and end up sore and frustrated. Sound like what happens on a typical walk with your dog? The Easy Walk harness puts a stop to all that nonsense. Just remember to remove the harness as soon as you're done. Our puppy prances when she's walking down the street and seems not to mind the harness a bit when she's in the moment, however she gives it a good chew in an effort to remove it if we neglect to do so. Wearing it around the house would seem to feel entirely awkward to her, but we're all enjoying the feeling of a good walk now that we have the Easy Walk harness.
