I'm not sure it's totally worth the price you pay as you can get the same effect by freezing items in an ice cream tub or butter dish, etc. The stand and tray are nice, though. My dogs love to munch on ice with fruit, veggies, or treats inside. I have never frozen toys in it, though. You do need to have enough room in your freezer for the container, it is pretty large. Maybe they should make a pint sized version for smaller dogs or puppies.

from Horn Lake, Ms on 06/12/2009Put it in the back yard when I leave for work in the morning. Keeps my 8 month old Border Collies occupied for a while. They tend to dig & chew, so this is great. They also love ice, so they think it's a treat. The lid is kind of hard to get off when you take it out of the freezer, but not that big a deal. Still worth the money. Great invention!

My Bassett Mix on the other hand is just too laid back to bother with it. It is a lot of fun to watch the two dogs try for HOURS to get the treats! And even my husband who rolled his eyes at first has admitted it is fun to watch the dogs with it.

We had 8 dogs taking turns licking and staying cool in Phoenix summer heat at Golden pool party. The directions are clear, worked perfectly and the dogs loved it! What could be better than that!!!!

The dogs enjoy frozen, flavored broth.
