Our german shepherd loves the Bristle Bone. It doesn't take her long to get the treat rings out of the bone. My complaint? The Bristle Bone gets sharp pieces in the hard plastic from her gnawing. I try to file them down with sand paper before letting her play with the bone.

Our dog has destroyed all previous toys that were supposed to "brush" her teeth. She loves this one and uses it several times a day. She has had it for 4 months now, and it is still in great condition.

When I bought the chew toy I also bought these refills that go along with it. Our dogs chew the toy for long periods of time and eat off the rawhide rings in one chewing. Replacing the rings each day or more then once a day can run into a lot of money over time. The rings are not thick and the only thing that slows down their eating is the fact that the rings are wedged between other parts of the toy. I enjoy watching them enjoy chewing on this thing. It's the first thing in a long time that has come along to keep the dogs interest up. I will have to see how much this will run me. I only hope they chew it without the rawhide and save my pocketbook.

It keeps my dog Macy occupied while we are at work. She now goes to it right after she has her meals as though she knows it is supposed to clean her teeth. We use it as something to keep Macy busy and even when we are home she can spend hours with it.

I have a very active dog; Gets bored easily and this product along with the bristle bone works great. He stopped destroying my house with this product. This is my second time buying it.

Our canine kids love trying to eat the Gnawhide rings which are added to the boucy bone for additional interactive fun. I highly recommend both, since they give or gang hours of fun and both are very safe.
