My dog has corn/wheat allergies, and I am having trouble finding something to put in that she has to work to get out.

When it cools off, I may put peanut butter in it, but that will have to stay outside.

I use it to distract the dog when I leave the house. She then has something to do for the first couple of minutes, and the separation anxiety is less.

We have two puppies -- one a little more "genius" than the other, so it's great fun to compare the way each one tackles this toy.

I take my beagle along to meetings at church, give her this toy with peanut butter inside, and this keeps her occupied through most of the meetings. One night she discovered how to unscrew it - but at least she was busy!

I have a lab. He is an aggressive chewer. I have been searching for the right treat toy for him and this is it. With the hard plastic treat toys, he just breaks them open to get to the treat. And with things like the Kong - which he loves - anything you put in there, he can just flatten the Kong with his jaws and crush or squeeze the treats out in a matter of seconds. This toy doesn't break, and the shape keeps him from flattening it.

My care taker likes to spread the inside with peanut butter then sprinkle with some of my favorite treats the she tightens all the way down. This keeps my active hard chewing puppy mouth busy for hours. This toy is great, I love it!

Great for active play

My puppy loves this! For a healthy treat to keep him busy I put his food in it. I can be sure he isn't eating high-calorie treats that may upset his tummy. It's great because he doesn't just sit and chew on something. Don't do this inside if you mind treats and/or kibble on your carpet. I read that for puppies you should keep it unscrewed so they understand there is a reward and then screw it tighter.

Any time my dog needs "home alone hours" I put treats in the Active Snacker Twist and toss it. She has separation anxiety so distracting her as I leave is a perfect solution.
I've used this product for 8 years and it's still going strong. This is one durable toy.
I've bought this toy for other dog owners.
