from Castle Rock, CO on 03/15/2009We puchased the cow and the rooster. We have a 10 yr old yellow lab and a 12 wk old labradoodle. We used these toys to play outside with the dogs. They absolutely love to play with these toys, but we are having to repair the tears constantly. They tear at the site of the "squeakers". Really fun, but tear easily.

This has held up great and they love to play tug of war with it. Also, the crowing sound seems to entertain them more than the normal squeek that most dog toys have.

from York, Maine on 06/12/2008This toy has surprised me in it's durability. Usually, my dog ( 4 1/2 year old Golden) goes through stuffed toys in no time at all just to get to the squeaky toy. This one has a number of squeakers to keep her entertained. I wouldn't recommend it for a puppy, unless you are watching 24/7 for the stuffing and squeakies, and I still keep an eye out, as I do with all stuffed toys, but we haven't had a problem. The only thing with this particular toy is the "voice box" ( a very loud rooster call) in it. My dog was afraid of it, so I cut it out and tossed it.

Lasted for a couple of weeks before I had to toss it out because my dog immediately put holes into the fleece and then proceeded to extract the stuffing out and then all the noise makers.
