from Phoenix, AZ on 07/14/2009I've bitten into this, and there is no mint smell or flavor -- but it doesn't taste or smell like rubber, either. Also, my super chewer has torn it into both large and small pieces, although she didn't swallow any. It's soft and flexible for a milder or older chewer, and the flexibility makes it fun to play with. Both of my dogs strongly prefer another bone advertised as flavored on this site, but which, like this bone, is neither flavored nor scented -- it smells and tastes like rubber. Go figure!
