That's Good Stuff
Slippery for my dog
By Francesca the Animal Magnate from Parsons, PA on 11/19/2008
Pros :
Good Value, Tough
Cons :
Too wide
Best Uses :
Older Pets
Describe Yourself :
Long-time Pet Owner
Bottom Line :
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My 51-lb dog is too heavy for me to lift into the front seat when I take him ever week for his chemo treatments. He had a stepstool but even that was a bit awkward for him. Even tho this feels rough and non-slip, my dog slipped on it every time. I glued a strip of carpeting to it and now it works fine for him. It's a tad wide for use on the front passenger side of my SUV but it works. It would be easier if it were about 6" narrower. He's used to it now and it helps ME and my back from not having to lift him out.

Was hoping this would help me get my 51-lb senior dog in and out of passenger side SUV. Tho it feels rough, my dog still slips on it. I glued a piece of carpet to it and hope that helps. Wish it were a little more narrow to fit for use of front door. Great product idea and hope it'll be better now w/ the carpet on it.
