The bungee leash is a little tight. It doesn't feel as loose as it could, so the dog feels it when they are pulling. I actually use it when I ride my bike with my dog running along beside me. I've also used it on regular walks with my smaller dog. It's nice to have your hands free, but it is too heavy a leash for the smaller dog (Boston terrier). It works great with my Boxer though.

This is good for a dog that pulls on the leash as it doesn't jerk the owner like a regular leash. I can put it around my waist to keep my hands free.

It took our 2 year old terrier a couple of miles to get used to the new way of running. But after that it has been great. And so nice to not have to hold on to a leash, and give me hands-free running. The color is earthy, and it appears to be durable. I have gone through many retractable leashes.

My son has a dog that likes to chase squirrels - this leash allows the person who is walking her some time to brace yourself when the dog takes off after the squirrel. It is much more gentle on the arms when the dog pulls and it is easier to recall the dog and/or stop her from running and chasing. It is very kind to the person on the end of the leash!

I use this leash to run with my dog Ranger. It works really well and helps us both to run faster. I have recommended it already to some friends.

I use it for trail cycling with my dog. It is easy to feel when he starts to pull and I need to change my pace and/or clip out. Without it I am handling him, shifting, and braking all with the same hand which is awkward. Also his penchant for quick stops can be destablizing. Naturally cycling is slow but it gives him exercise and it allows me to control him until we get to an area where he can be offlead.

Not only can I strap the other end around my waist which keeps my hands free but I will also use this leash for two dogs when going from the parking lot to the dog park. I can take the part that straps around my waist and strap it around the other dog's collar. It's elasticity works great if they pull too hard and it's soft and doesn't hurt your hand.

used this to run with my west highland terrier. Although it is great only the large size was offered. A smaller size size, leash length would have been better.
