I forgot to add the only drawback to this terrific product: the totally UN environmentally friendly packaging of this product which was also difficult to get into. Big, heavy, plastic and totally unnecessary!! Planet Dog can do better than this! The product is terrific, but the packaging is disgraceful!

Love this product. Feels good in my hand. Easy to keep in glove compartment. Lovely, smooth extension/retraction. Sturdy. Would also love to see this made in a 10' version. Great for travel. Easy to stow in pocket, backpack or purse.

I really enjoy this leash because of its compact size. It fits nicely in my hand and is easy to manage two leashes at once. However, I ordered a medium for my spaniel mix and a large for my lab and could not tell the difference in the sizes when they arrived. I expected a the large leash to be more durable, of a heavier weight, a thicker leash, something. I contacted the company to ask the difference, and they told me the only difference is the size of the clip to attach to the collar. Really?? It's a good thing my spaniel is the puller and the lab stays right by my side because I'm afraid it would not be durable enough for a large, powerful dog. For smaller dogs (50 lbs. and under) it's great, though.

I love this and use it with the split lead for walking our two yellow labs. My only complaint is that it is too short- we are used to walking with a 8-9 ft. lead and this is only 6 ft. Otherwise, it's great!

This product is great. You can slip your hand throught the wristlet, and then hold the round piece in the palm of your hand. It's very comfortable to hold, and there is something about its resistence or design, that keeps my dog from pulling. It's not that it's particularly rigid, instead, it gives her just enough room to feel like she's off leash (so she doesn't pull) but it is short enough and retracts so that I can retain easy control over her. ("She" is a 6 month old GSMD.)

The leash feels right in your hand. It's a little heavy to stash 2 in your coat pocket (2 dogs). But we use them when we walk off leash in the open space - you do need a leash sometimes just in case. These are much better than a 6 foot leash that just hangs around your neck.

Consider adding a separate clip/ring for those who use small roll of "poop-bags". I have two kinds of baggie holders, and it is awkward to attach them to the wrist band on this leash. Mfr could design and sell a matching holder for commonly-sold rolls of baggies.

I love this leash! It is comfortable to hold - a lot better those those other 'bulky' ones. I've dropped it several times on the pavement and it has sustained little damage. I would have liked the length to be longer, but then the size might have been bigger. The design of the fastener makes it very easy to attach to my dog's harness!
