I have an older dog who really dislikes wearing a harness, but she has no objections to this one! She always pulls on the leash when we go walking, and I was beginning to worry that she would do damage to her neck and spine. With this harness, however, she can still pull, but the stress is removed from her head and neck area. The only thing neither of us like about the harness is the way a leash is supposed to be attached - you have to put the hook through both rings so the harness won't come undone. Other than this little worry, this is a great product!

My dog loves it as it is soft and comfortable. The harness looks great on my baby and it is just so cute!!!

My peke is hard to fit and this halter is perfect. She loves it and won't let me take it off of her!

I am so pleased with the quality of the Step-n-Go harness. I have two Chihuahuas that walk together and tend to pull, start, stop and sniff. The harness is easy to put on, stays put with the double rings, and my dogs have not wiggled out of them yet as they have with other types.

Best harness because:
1. Excellent fit-does not stretch out and the chest is adjustable with velcro. The material is soft and launders beautifully.
2. Best of all it DOES NOT open when attached to the leash. Just make sure BOTH loops are hooked together and even if the dog pulls the leash the harness will not come apart and open.
3. No adjustable straps so you do not have to worry about them coming loose (with time) and the dog slipping a paw through the harness.
4. Very easy and fast to put on the dog if you prefer the dog not wear a harness in the house. The dog just steps into the leg openings and you close with one velcro strip on the back.
5. Only drawback is that a small bone charm is attached to the loops and sometimes gets in the way when trying to attach the leash. However, the charm can be removed.

My Jack-Russell-toy poodle mix loves the comfort of this harness. Previous harnesses had sharp edges which hurt her sensitive skin. The harness is well-designed and closes securely which makes leash attachment and dog-walking easier. In addition, the wider straps and wrap-around styling seem to have a calming effect on our dog, who was traumatized by prior owners. I highly recommend this harness.
