This pet gate rocks!!!! It's nice to look at, easy to move around and best of all, free-standing. We got the shorter one because our dogs are small. If you have a medium-sized jumper or large dog, you'd probably want to get the taller one. Works great for us! We got one wide one to block off the big 6 ft. opening at one end of our open kitchen, and a smaller one for the narrower opening. We have a toy poodle who can't wait till we get home to potty, so we set all three dogs up in there with puppy pads at one end for him and the beds and food/water in the other. Just what we needed!

These gates are really very nice looking and that is as important to me as anything because they are always out. They aren't made with flimsy parts or cheap looking wood. They adjust in to alot of sizes, too. Overall great product and they do what they are suppose to do...keep the dogs where you want them. Don't recommend for aggressive pushers though because remember they are free standing!

This is a product for those who want a pet gate with style. Its like a nice piece of furniture. It fits large opening, looks great, and the stand alone versatility is fabulous. I wish I would have found this type gate years ago.

The gate works well as a psychological barrier to keep our pup out of the formal dining room. She could easily leap it in one bound, so it's not actually meant to secure her. Rather, it's enough of a deterrant that she stays where she's supposed to. The lower size is easy step over, a bonus for us!

This is a fabulous gate. It is like a beautiful piece of furniture - very sturdy, easy to move around, doesn't scratch the floor. We are very happy with it.

We love our new pet gate. Going to local stores for around $100 there was nothing even comparable in quality and style. Not flimsy, like all the others, very durable. We can just "walk over" to the next room, compared to all the other gates available. Which is a convenience to us.Everyone that walks in loves it, and wants to know where I purchased. I made of the choice of paying $50 more, and it was worth it! My dog feels right at home![...]

my toy poodle has a leg problem and i couldn't keep him from jumping on the couch. the free stand up gate was long enough to keep the dog from jumping on the couch. i have other gates to keep him from going up the stairs , but the stand up gate was perfect and now i can go into the other room and not worry about him trying to jump on the couch and make his leg worse.

This gate is fabulous - worth every penny. It looks terrific with our hardwood floors. It is a great training aid for any household!!
