While wooden pet gates look great, they’re often made of soft wood that’s easy prey for chewing canines. This elegant, freestanding gate delivers the beauty – and resists canine chomping. Made to last with mortise-and-tenon joinery, its solid oak composition ensures stability – and it easily telescopes to fit most openings. A FetchDog exclusive.

  • Classic design complements any home’s décor
  • Carefully crafted for high quality in solid oak
  • Hardwood construction adds stability to prevent tipping
  • Easily adjustable for openings of varying widths
  • Water based finish is easy on the environment

That's Good Stuff
Too short for my Whippet puppy,
By Tibble22 from Panama City Beach, FL on 12/30/2011
Pros :
Easy to use, Excellent quality, Nice looking, Well built
Cons :
Too Short
Best Uses :
Use to separate the puppy

I liked the gate but it was just too short for my Whippet puppy. I sent it back with no problem and purchased a taller gate which works great!

That's Good Stuff
Wonderful gate, only a couple quibbles
By Mizgreenjeans from Northern Kentucky on 04/23/2011
Pros :
Attractive, Nice and wide
Cons :
Not easy to use w 1 hand, Pins to connect awkward
Best Uses :
Wide openings 'tween room

This gate arrived yesterday and I was very pleased with the overall quality. We have a wide area between the foyer and the living room that we wanted to gate off so our three dogs wouldn't be able to swarm visitors.

The only problem I had was that at the L shaped pins included to put the ends on did not stay in, tending to slip right out.

Cotter pins would be a better idea here, we wound up using some wire.

The only other thing I wish is that the pieces would slide more easily, so I could open it with one hand, as it is, it takes two.

Otherwise, it's great!
