Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This gate installed easily--even for my assembly phobic husband! It's the perfect height to keep my athletic smooth collie safely contained in the family room while we're at work. He jumped the previous gate! Love the walk thru door. Of note, you cannot adjust the actual width of the panels. Instead, you adjust the angle and configuration to suit the opening (as shown in the photo). The gate is not especially attractive, but for the price, it is okay.
