I bought my walk thru gate after bringing my 120 lb dog inside for the Winter.He hates his new heated dog house so,my kitchen is his now.The gate is very strong and easy to operate. Even holds up to a 2 year old nephew playing on it.

The picture was a brown gate but it came in white.
Fits large opening well. Gate only swings open one way.

It's nice that the dog can see what is gong on on the other side,so does not feel isolated.

My lab-pit mix girl, about 50 lbs, has discovered how to climb out by putting her hind feet on the top of the small animal gate and front paws on the top of the gate and then just thrusting herself over. She did this on July 4 when we had her confined (we thought) to a small area because of the neighbor's firecrackers. My bigger boy, about 65 lbs., slaps at the top sometimes when he's excited and rattles it pretty well, but he hasn't yet tried to jump or climb over. I am sure he could.
This is a good product and an excellent price but I would never trust it 100% with any dog that is really motivated to get out. A good point is that the latch actually can be opened--with difficulty-- with one hand (by a human, I mean), which is useful if you have a dog dish or a treat or whatever in the other hand.

Was excited about the walk through door, but my yorkie can fit through the space between the gate and wall!

So far this gate keeps my dog safely in the kitchen and allows us to enter and exit easily through the gate. The vertical bars prevent Theo from climbing up the gate as he did with my previous baby gate.I do not use the small pet door and will try to tape it shut. As my dog is still a puppy and under 25 pounds the gate is more than sturdy enough. I hope that will continue to be the case. So far, so good!

I had such a difficult time finding this size. It seems that the standard sizes were everywhere, but the size i needed was so difficult to find. The price is excellent as well. The product is obviously hi grade and i expected the price would be as well. I am totally impressed with this site for providing such excellent merchandise [...] at such a great price. I will shop here again and again.

I'm a first-time pet owner and was searching for an effective gate that would contain my dog, would be easy to install and look good within my home decor. This gate fits the bill all around. We were using baby gates throughout the house that were a challenge to continually step over and didn't securely stay in place. The easy to open gate on this product makes life much easier. I especially like the fact that it is securely pressure mounted yet won't damage any walls. My dog does not jump on the gate so I can't attest to it withstanding a large, jumping dog. Overall, the product seems well-made and highly effective. I bought three of them. I strongly recommend it.

We bought this gate to keep the dog downstairs and still let the cats upstairs to where their food and litterbox is. Our 50lb Siberian Husky can fit through the cat door!

Easy entry and assembly. Too bad my "houdini" dog (55 lbs) was able to easily unlock the small kitty door and crawl through it not just once but consistently.
