My husband and I ordered this gate because we are expecting a baby and wanted a way to keep our dogs out of the playroom. It was easy to assemble and looks great (a lot better than the old adjustable gate we had). It fits extremely tight in the doorway so I would make sure that you use it somewhere that has a very sturdy frame. It is easy to open with one hand once you get used to it and we really love that it swings through both ways. Makes it easy if you are carrying things. We have never had a "walk through" gate before and the only thing I have to be careful of is the strip of wood that goes all the way across the floor. It obviously has to be there so the gate can remain tight and in place, but you can trip over it if you are not careful. I also think it is meant to be used as a mostly permanent gate. It is hard to remove because it fits so tightly so I probably wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants to move it a lot. All in all we are very happy with our purshase.

It is a wonderful gate that looks great and works great. We got it to limit our puppy as we already crated the older dogs. Now we just use the gate to limit house access for all our dogs. I love it!!!

This gate works great, it is easy to open and close. Our gates are used all day because they are in a busy area of our home and we don't feel that having gates is inconvenient.

I love this gate! In fact I just ordered another to use in a second doorway. It looks very nice, good quality, easy to put up, functions great and can be removed if needed. No more high stepping and crashing over those inexpensive gates. Plus my chihuahua can't chew through to escape, it give a more permanent appearance and the color matches my woodwork perfect. Very helpful for containing the dogs w/o destroying my walls.

This gate is great. When I had blocked the stairs before, I would trip or fall over some of the "stuff" I had used. I can open the gate with one hand. My cats can pass through the bars but my dogs can't. It looks great. I just love it.

Only challenge was the standard widths did not exactly fit my door opening. Found a good solution at the local hardware store by using two banister railings as end posts to take up some extra space. Adjustment in the gate allowed a tight fit. Love it and so does my dog!
