We loved the gate so much that we ordered another one for the top of the stairs. However, the instructions state to not install at the top of the stairs which is the only place where we can install. The caution is due to the metal piece at the bottom that could be a trip hazard (even on flat hallway until you get used to lifting your foot). Otherwise we LOVE the gate in our hallway.

We have several. Effective way to restrict pet access yet make it easy for humans to come and go.

The only issue is the small step on the bottom and remembering to walk over it.

purchased the wide gate to keep two large dogs out of a room with new furniture. These are two large dogs (lab & boxer) and the gate works so well because it is sturdy and tall enough.

HIgh quality; color is perfect for natural look in home. Latch functionality (e.g. top and bottom design) very good.

My family and I have always had multiple dogs. In our desire to keep the dogs from the formal rooms in the front of the house, we have always relied upon wooden gates that were placed across the doorways. This system worked, but was difficult to use when you came in with your hands full. The one touch system is great. I'm now able to pass through a doorway without having to lift the entire gate, or jump over a secured gate. I've already had many friends, with dogs and/or small children, notice it and they're thinking about getting one for their own home. Thank you Fetchdog for such a great product.

Just installed our new gate and just LOVE it. Not only does it open and swing easily but it really looks very nice. If one must have a pet gate, it might as well look good as well as serving the intended purpose. [...]The attaching knobs are large so they will not destroy the woodwork casing the way our old gate did. Extremely pleased with this product.

I was really suprised by the strength of this gate. I ran into it a couple of times and it does not move. I have a pug who is the master of escape and I feel comfortable leaving the house with this gate. I thought the installation instructions were a little confusing, but once it's together...it works great. Easy to open and close.

This gate was very easy to assemble, very durable and looks great in the house. We especially liked the larger size for the opening in which we installed the gate. The only problem was that the bottom latch broke within the first hour. I am assuming it is a defective part and am working to get it repaired. Otherwise it is working very well, my young children have no problem using it and it was easy to install.
