Was disappointed with a lot of the gates I saw, but this one looks good (I have the honey), which is really close to my hardwood floor color. It's effective for my dog, which is, per her last weigh in 45-lbs. My dog walker actually commented that he really liked the gate and wanted to know where I got it.

We needed a gate that would look good off our front entry hall and this one fits the bill perfectly. Very nice looking ... except for the white product code stickers on both sides of the gate. We still haven't been able to remove them completely.

I USE THIS TO SEGREGATE MY DOG PAL FROM THE FRONT AND DRIVER'S AREA OF THE MOTOR HOME.

This gate is a wonderful improvement over the old version of the tension gate that you must either step over or remove to get through. I broke my ankle and am so grateful for the easy access it gives me in and out of my kitchen as I train my new puppy.

I have been gate shopping for over a year now but none had the looks and quality I was looking for until I saw these and read the good reviews. Glad I purchased them. A litte pricey but good quality. Glad I spent the extra.
We purchased both sizes, our openings were a little off size so we had to mix and match the extensions but the end result works great and looks great. I was suprised and a little dissapointed the gate for the smaller opening was quite a bit smaller but my fault for not reading the specs.
One package came rather beat up but no damage to the product. One of the locks dosen't work, it came broken but we actually like it better than the one that does ... just easier to open.
Overall we love the product and reccomend it.

We loved the first one which looked so nice in our light cherry kitchen that we quickly ordered another for the second doorway. What a difference it makes. Almost looks like it is part of the kitchen cabinetry.

I bought one gate to keep my maltese-poodle out of the dining room. Not only is it sturdy, well made, and stylish, she can't figure out how it works! As a pup, she was a regular houdini with all types of gates. I guess she must be getting old. I then bought a second gate for the kitchen. It's perfect because you don't have to take it down everytime you want to get back in. Only problem I had was that it was so well packed, it was clumsy getting out of the boxes. But worth it as there was no damage to any of the product. I recommend if you are looking for something stylish and not too obvious.

We constantly complained about having to step over the baby gate that keeps the dogs out of our laundry room which is the access to our garage and side entrance. This room also serves as our cats' restaurant and restroom, thus, the need to keep the dogs out! Now we just slide the button and walk through...no moaning, groaning or scraping shins and the cats jump right over it while the dogs look on. We love it and it looks great too!

I keep my dogs in their own "room" while I am at work and I had to replace the old plastic gate. I looked at this one several times and decided to take the plunge. I actually bought two, one for the room and one at the bottom of the stairs to restrict my French Bulldog from going up and down the steps ( a no-no for him). They are very well made and attractive. They are also extremely easy to use. My husband made the comment that he thought they were some of the best gates he had ever seen. This gate is well worth the investment.
