from Medford, MA on 07/31/2009My 70lb Lab had a tendency to jump into the passenger seat while I was driving causing many, many issues. I wasn't sure how he would react to the harness, having never worn one before, but he was a champ. We used it for the first time today. The directions were so simple and there are multiple ways to attach it in the car. I used the seat belt adapter with the tether attached to the harness but I think that was a bit too long - he could still get in between the seats and I don't see how he would be protected in a sudden stop. On the way home today we are going to try a different way to make it a bit more secure. The harness itself is also a bit heavy - not for my guy but for a smaller dog I would think it may be a bit too much for them.

from Kansas City, Missouri on 05/20/2009Baxter Brumley, our new Welsh Terrier puppy, can now ride to the farmer's market with me alone! Before I had to make sure I had another passenger with me to keep him under control and OUT from under my feet while I drive! Plus, he is buckled in and safe!

from Detroit,mi on 01/10/2009It's great since it is adjustable for a growing dog. It's also great if your dog likes to lay down since it dose not leave the pup feeling so restricted.
The product comes with suggestion on how to hook your dog up but it also leaves room to create your own way of hooking up the dog to the seat as well
from Buffalo, NY on 08/21/2008My dog is spoiled with a very comfortable dog seat, yet it did not come with a seatbelt. My fiance and I purchased this seat belt and enjoy that our dog is still able to relax and lay down in his seat with the seat belt.

from Southern California on 05/22/2008I bought this product because my hyperactive dog needs restraining in the car when I'm driving. He jumps back and forth in the back seat so much that the tether twists itself up and limits his movement, so I have to keep stopping the car and getting in the back seat to untwist it. The tether could be improved by means of a swivel on the seatbelt end to prevent this twisting up.

from Eastern Shore, MD on 04/24/2008We bought this harness for our 4-month old boxer pup. Although we could get the straps to fit, the device is too bulky for her. We expect she'll grow into it, so this isn't a flaw; just a warning to puppy owners.
The buckle snaps feel very secure but make a VERY loud noise when attached. Our puppy was already tentative about these big straps beng wrapped about her, and then the loud noise freaked her out.
