I bought this travel harness for my maltese/shih-tzu mix. He never sits still in the car. He jumps all over the place and I am worried he will cause me to wreck my car or he will be injured so I bought the travel harness.

While I appears to weigh more than my 11 lbs dog (exaggerating) it works great. He's not to thrilled to be restrained but now I have piece of mind.

The concept is wonderful, but the harness was too bulky for a Shih Tzu. She started choking herself after being attached to the seat carrier. If she didn't sit straight, she became entwined in the buckle from the seat to the harness.

I would only recommend this to someone with a larger animal.
