from New York on 08/08/2009Not very easy to install. Had to adjust to fit headrests in vehicle. Wonderful for the reason it is more durable to keep the dog from entering the front. Keeps them contained. Does not damage and/or leave marks on the interior roof and floor. Definitely recommended. It takes up less space.
from West Chester, PA on 07/30/2009The barrier works very well in normal conditions, but our dog flies over it when there is thunder or another dog approaches. Not the problem of the barrier, just an agile dog! It does keep him calmer, in the back seat, during normal driving.
from Chicopee, MA on 07/23/2009It is the best thing that I could have bought. My Sadie really likes to ride shotgun but the front seat isn't the safest place for her to ride. I've tried a car seat harness but she chewed my seat belt almost in half. The barrier lets her wander about a bit, yet keeps her in the backseat and not in my lap when I am driving. The downside was that the installation instructions weren't as clear as I would have liked. But I got it figured out and I am very happy with the barrier.

He thought he could give driving advise by resting his upper body on the console between the seats and peering out the front window. We knew this was a potentially harmful if not fatal way for Ted to travel. Ordered the Back Seat Barrier. It installs easily, we have a medium size SUV. At first glance, we thought there might be too much space between the top of the barrier and the roof of the car. This barrier works great. Keeps our boy from the front of the car and keeps him safe. Would not leave a dog in the car by itself with this barrier as the dog could become hung up trying to get over it. We have not used the seat divider.
from Sebastian, Florida on 04/02/2009My dogs used to jump in the front seat as soon as I vacated the car to run a quick errand. Now I can return to a clean fur free seat. The dogs are also safe from becoming projectile missiles in case of a quick stop. Product is great. Wish I had bought it sooner. Very easy to install too.
from Park City, UT on 03/19/2009I have an Audi A4 sedan and 2 dogs--Golden Retriever and Yellow Lab. I purchased the dog barrier to keep them in the backseat. They still move into the front seat when I leave them. I will be purchasing a metal barrier that goes to the ceiling. This Kurgo barrier will keep them from going in between the bucket seats. I would suggest this barrier for smaller, less active dogs.

from Dayton, OH on 08/21/2008was a little hard to install but I have a small SUV so it was just a little too big. Still it works and does the job! Keeps big rambunctious dog from putting feet of console between seats. This works great!
