Our lab ate in less than 30 seconds with a traditional food bowl. With this bowl, his eating time more than doubled. The bowl slides around- we have it on a plastic mat wedged next to his water bowl and that seems to help it stay put. He has tried to play with/chew the pegs in the bowl but after we took it away a few times, he's gotten the idea that it's for food, not a toy.

my lab, scout is an enthusiastic eater, he was hoovering 2 cups of kibbles in under 50 seconds, this was not contributing to good digestion or helping him to lose weight. it takes him close to three minutes to eat now with the anti-bloat bowl, he is actually chewing his food, feels fuller and has lost one pound in the past week!

I have a lab who is 6 years old and eats like a new puppy. he use to choke on his food and i had to feed him on a cookie sheet. so when i found this bowl and read the reviews...i had to get it. i love the bowl and it has helped my dog. the only thing i have bad to say is that it moves when he eats.

My beagle used to gobble her food so fast, I don't think she even chewed it. This has really slowed her down. It did move around a lot so I put it on top of the old food bowl and now it just tilts a little which is no big deal .

This was a great buy for our 10mo old English Cream Golden Retreiver. She was gobbling her food in less than a minute and now she takes her time. She was a bit skiddish at first and I had to prompt her to eat from it, but once she got the hang of it then she started slowing down and eats like a normal dog.

I have 3 Cavelier King Charles Spaniels and 1 Jack Russell .. feeding time was always a gulp and a burp but now with these bowls a much healthier approach as slow it down. Easy to stack and easy to clean . I am very pleased and will use no other bowls !

My lab used to inhale her food

My lab used to finish her food within 30 seconds of putting the bowl down. She was always the first one to finish eating. It took her a few days to get used to the bowl, and now she eats faster than the first, but still not as quick as she did before. What used to take her 30 seconds to eat now takes her a good 2-3 minutes. =)

These bowls helped my lab and weimaraner slow down while eating. It would take the weimaraner less than a minute to eat 2 cups of puppy food. Now it takes him about 3 minutes. The only downfall is that they slide around, but it doesn't seem to bother my dogs! I'd also like it if each size had color choices.

I use it to help a puppy who was denied enough breast milk or was removed from the breast too quickly to let the other 11 puppies eat. they were divided in groups and mom didn't have enough nipples. She does not have ability to slow herself down so she would choke. The problem is inside her mind and quite imprinted. Golden retriever pup. this problem is opposite to the rest of her personality. very sad for her.

It moves all over especially with this type of eater. needs rubber bottom. does not stay put even with mat.

I have an 87lb Anatolian Shephard puppy and this bowl is the only thing that keeps her from inhaling her food. I'm so glad I found this product.
