Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is one of the best things I have bought for my dogs in a long time. Forever they have been drinking from my garden fountains and tromping thru the flowers. Now that they have this I have put it on the patio where their old bucket used to be and they love it. It makes literally no noise at all and is easy to clean. I can't say that I blame them for wanting fountain water over slobbery bowl water but I so much prefer them drinking out of this!

Fresh Fountain Pays Off

Great product!
Having a 5 dog household and one dog who won't drink out of a water bowl another drank out of, it meant multiple bowls and pails in the house.
Now all the crew are happy with their filtered water.

Great concept, but hard to maintain

I really appreciate the design and the practical use. I purchased this bowl for my golden retriever but the cats at home love to drink from the sides and even the top of the bowl. The biggest problem is the maintenance. You cannot just add water to it. The whole setup has to be done fresh every time. One of my cats was very upset staring at the blue part looking for water. He used to drink from the running fawcet, but this bowl took its place. The setup requires instructions--- That's the only con, otherwise, I would have issued 4.5 stars. It's also important to clean the filters often.

If it holds up, it will truly be a Godsend, dogs seem to really love it. It took a few days for them to start using it regularly, but now they love it.
