from Blythe, California on 07/19/2009This is a great product that works as advertised. Simple to use and it didn't take long to get the dog used to it. He still doesn't like it, but he lets us use it without a struggle (he's not a fan of us messing with his feet in general). My only complaint and the reason it's not a 5 star product is the size. The manufacturers website has small, medium and large options, but it appears the large has been discontinued. We have an 85 pound lab/akita mix and his paws are a tight fit. With the front paws we have to be careful of his dew claw (the top one). It can get caught on the edge if we plunge too quickly. With his back paws the Paw Plunger is not deep enough to insert his entire paw. It's still an incredibly helpful product, but it would be the IDEAL product if we could have got the large version (which incidentally is the one pictured...the medium is more squat, hence the inability to insert the entire back paw).

from Chicago, IL on 04/30/2009I use this everytime I let my dog in from the outside. We used to use baby wipes to clean her paws but, that was getting expensive and wasteful. I saw this and thought I would give it a try. It cleans the paws much better and more completely than baby wipes. It has paid for itself in no time. I wish I had gotten it sooner. Also, my dog doesn't seem to mind it. She is very cooperative.
from hamden,ct on 04/13/2009I have three dogs: a wheaten terrier,a goldendoodle and a lhasa apso. I currently use the med-large plunger for the lhasa and the wheaten, but needed the larger plunger for the goldendoodle because of her size and length of leg.
The plunger does everything it advertises it will. Those paws really do come out cleaner than with using just a garden hose AND I can control the water temperature.
I would recommend getting one per dog,though, as it does run out of water with multiple dippings of the paws.
