from Baltimore, MD on 08/06/2009We have a 95 pound healthy two year old male golden retriever that leaves fur tumbleweeds all over the house. In summer just brushing past him leaves you fur covered....until we started using the Furminator. It easily removes his undercoat and shedable fur. Removes burrs easily.
Huck enjoys being brushed with it, while reducing about 95% of the fur in the house. Would never buy another brush.

from Attica, NY on 02/14/2008Until the FURminator our motto was "nobody died of eating dog hair" We have an American Eskimo Dog that I rescued from Las Vegas-thought it was a mutt. He has a great personality but if I had thought about all the hair he would grow in NY I would have given him back to the store that had sold him to the person who kicked him out. We now have the hair under control thanks to the FURminator. Best pet buy I have ever made. Would I recommend it? A thousand times YES! I forgot I am saving his hair to spin.
A vaccuum is sometimes no match for the dust bunnies produced by the amalgamation of shed hairs from my shaggy dogs Sheba (a border collie) and Tiki (her Chow-Rottweiler beau).
