I was very enthusiastic about this product--see Leslie the Dog Collector above, the mats that came with the first order were fantastic. Two of the original four fell to very dedicated puppy monsters who chewed off the rope edging, and I reordered those. The fabric on the ones from the second order is so inferior that I probably will not get more. I still have two from the original order that have sat on the screened porch for two years--in the sun. They still look great. The two new ones have never been outdoors and look faded and grubby. The problem is the fabric which looks identical but has a softer finish that pills and attracts dirt. I am very disappointed. If by chance the manufacturer has gone back to the original fabric, I would love to know, because the originals are the best indoor/outdoor mats ever.

I wrote a review on this earlier today saying that the younger dog that we have has moved this pillow around while playing with it and it doesn't have any holes. Well, I went outside after that and the darn thing has a hole in it :( Don't get it if you have a chewer, a puppy or a playful one.

I like this product, I just wish it came in a bigger size! I got the biggest and it's "just right" for my 60 lb dogs (one at a time though!). The design is super cute. I got it for my girl dog originally since she loves to lay on the rocks while watching for squirrels. I thought she could perch on it while waiting for them to come by but she ignored it and layed on the rocks anyway! My younger dog have moved it a bunch of times while "playing" with it and it hasn't torn yet!

We have this outdoor bed on our deck, and my dog loves to lay on it! It's the first place he goes when we let him on the deck. It's comfortable and keeps its shape well. Also dries quickly after it's been rained on. Very pleased with my purchase!

I have many dogs and foster puppies for a local rescue groups. Even dogbeds advertised as indestructibe are, believe me destructible, and usually pretty expensive and dull looking. These are a great design, wash easily, and have survived several months of indoor and outdoor wear without a blemish. I can hardly believe it. Meanwhile, I sent back Orvis's chew proof ones, because they were too squishy and hideously expensive. I knew the dogs would destroy them in a heartbeat. Drs Foster & Smith's are much cheaper, but a puppy ripped one up in minutes. I have three from somewhere that are chew proof, but they are not washable except with a hose. They look hosed and fairly grubby--plus they are beige. All of the above did no favors for the decor. These are very good looking and they WORK! Hooray! I'm getting more.
