from St. Paul, MN on 08/01/2009Bought this for my elderly, arthritic bull terrier and it's perfect for her heavy body. Holds up to her compact weight and frame. The only trouble is she scratches the fleece before she beds down...and I'm finding little fleece balls all over the room. Nice bed...I hope it can hold up to her tendency to dig, then lay.
from Maryland on 06/26/2009We purchased this bed as a replacement for an older dog bed that did not provide adequate support for our arthritic dog. The fabric is nice enough that it looks at home in the family room. Our Boxer seems to particularly enjoy the bolstered surround that his old bed did not have. He naps rather comfortably there. My only complaint would be that the color is not as stated. It is really an olive green, not a sage color.

from Middletown, CT on 05/15/2009I recently adopted a rescued border collie and had tried to buy the same bed, round with bolster back, that my first border was sleeping on. The company had changed manufacturers resulting in sizing issues. They suggested that I buy their similar styled orthopedic bed. I was a little hesitant as both dogs are young and considered this to be an older dogs bed. Was I WRONG! Every night each dog would race to get to the orthopedic bed first for the night and the dog that lost would prefer to sleep on the carpet rather than the first bed. I was about to purchase the same orthopedic bed when I saw this bed offered through Fetchdog for quite a bit less money.. The only difference is the bottom orthopedic cushion is lighter and SLIGHTLY less firm than the first orthopedic bed I had bought. Each dog now happily has their own bed. Since my dogs are 40lbs, I don't think the cushion is an issue. If I had a 100+lb (especially older) dog I think I would prefer a more firm cushion.
from Memphis, TN on 02/22/2009We just opened the dog bed today, but it looks very attractive and durable. The monogramming looks like the best I've seen, and I have purchased many dog beds over the years. The color is very rich and nice.
My dog has hip dysplasia, but this bed appears to be supportive for his joints.
So far, it seems like a great bed!

from Portland OR on 01/05/2009This bed is FANTASTIC. I have a 2 year old Bull Mastiff who was notorious for sneaking up on people furniture to sleep and nap. After giving him his own comfy new bed, I can't keep him off the joint relief sofa. The design is great for leaners--he curls up against the back and looks snug as a bug. The base is somewhat larger than I expected but overall I am extremely pleased that my big boy is so comfortable! He has a few beds around the house so I plan to replace those with the joint relief sofa.

from Bristow, VA on 10/16/2008I should have purchased the joint relief sofa for my old yellow lab ages ago. It is firm, but comfortable and she can get up from a laying down position easily. It's also easy for her to turn over on and to snuggle against the back bolster. I found it to be expensive, but it is certainly worth every penny to see her finally so happy using a dog bed. Thanks a million for this product.
