My dogs love their ortho bed. We have hardwood floors and it has been difficult to find a large, quality bed that didn't break the bank. They enjoy sleeping, playing and "perching" on it. It's also nice that the cushion can be taken off and used elsewhere. Be aware that it does take up a lot of space, so you should measure the area before buying to make sure it will fit.

This bed fits great at the end of our own bed and now the dogs have no desire to jump into ours!! Very soft and supportive of our big dogs(80pounds each) and yes they both fit comfortably!! At first I was confused why the bed comes in two pieces and was not sown together. Glad I waited to write the review because now I love that it is detachable. In the morning, I can take it outside and shake it which has kept this bed very clean. We live on a farm and have dirty, tired dogs at the end of a day and knowing they have a good bed to sleep in and that is easy to clean is really great. Very happy with this purchase. If you have dogs that like to snuggle and sleep together this is the bed for you. I could never have bought two equally nice beds for my dogs for the money I spent on this one!!

I was excited when the new bed came in. It is attractive and I am able to store it under my bed if I need to when guests come over.

My dogs love it! They immediately rolled around and rooted into it to give it that appropriate dog touch! I have three dogs, but one sleeps in our bed. The other two have settled in nicely into this double bed. They like each other's company to snuggle with, but it is plenty big if they want to spread out. One dog is an 80 lb Golden and the other is a 55 lb Australian Shep mix. We ordered the Large Bed. They do tend to mouth things, but haven't seemed to want to destroy this bed (a definite plus).

Seemed a little pricey, but now I have only one bed where I used to have two. It seems to be of a good quality, so if it lasts, it should be a good value for the price.

So if you have two dogs who like to stay close to each other, then they will enjoy having a bed big enough for two (or more if the dogs are smaller).

My 5 year old 80 pound Weimaraner has slept in my bed with me since day one. He was recently diagnosed with arthritis in his hips. I didn't want him jumping on the bed anymore so I thought its time for his own bed. He loves it and goes right to it every night.

Just wanted to let you know how much my Beau (5 year old 80 pound Weimaraner who was recently diagnosed with arthritis in his hips) loves his new Double Dog Ortho bed. After sleeping with me in my bed for 5 years I wasn't sure I could teach an old dog a new trick. He crawled in it the very first night and has slept in it every night since. Two of my dogs, a 9 yr old GSD, and a 7 yr. old mixed breed MUST sleep together and they have not always agreed on a bed! The GSD has some arthritis and it makes me feel good to see her so comfortable. And there is ample room for them both. I do wish the cover on the loose cushion was removable for washing, and I intend to open a seam and put velcro in to make it removable.
