from Atlanta, GA on 04/10/2009I bought two, one for my lab that had major back surgery and one for my Chihuahua. The Float Coat not only gave me piece of mind but I sware it gave my lab some peace too. My lab has always been a swimmer but not a good one. After his back surgery I knew he would have a harder time staying afloat for long periods of time (but try to tell him that). We took them out to the beaches in Charleston with their Float Coats in hand. They fit very well I must say. The dogs did not seem to be bound or uncomfortable at all. All I can say is that I am glad we got them. My lab did get pushed over by a wave, but with his Flaot Coat on, he didn't panic (I did). When I got to him, he was perfectly fine because the coat kept him up. Peace of mind. He and I both have peace of mind.

from SC on 01/08/2009I bought two of these one for my dachsund and one for my lab they both dont even seem to notice that they are on. This product is of very high quality. I would recomment this to everyone who owns a pet and wasn the security when they are on or near water!!!!
from PA on 07/31/2008I have 2 West Highland Terriers. Miller, our smaller Westie fell overabove. We were in a crowded "boating" area - she went in quickly and the tide was rapid & there were many boat waves. The reflective nature of the vest, how it kept Miller's head afloat enable all the surrounding boats to see her and we were able to quickly bring me to safety. This is one of the BEST doggie products I have ever purchased!!
from Tennessee on 07/17/2008This jacket makes it easy to help my older dogs out of the water and ensures that my younger dog doesn't get tinto too much trouble if he swims far from me.
from Plano, TX on 06/01/2008Our aging sheltie (14 yrs) loves to swim in our pool with us and the grandkids. She gets so tired that she has difficulty getting out of the pool. The life jacket helps her with her swimming and makes it easy for us to help her get out of the pool. Great product.

from Cape Elizabeth, ME on 09/26/2007We've been sailing with dogs for many years and have tested lots of PFDs. The Float Coat rates number one for us because of it's bouyancy, easy snap-on clips, and especially the cut. Gracie wears the PFD for week-long cruises and unlike other PFD's it never chafes her underbelly or hurts her ribcage when we lift her aboard. The mellow yellow color is an added attraction. Great for boat dogs of all sizes.
