Sizing Instructions

The Bark’n Boots Skyliner are built to secure around the ankle but below the carpal pad. The boot should have room in the paw area, allowing the paw to spread when bearing weight.

Measuring Paw Width

1. Have your dog stand on a firm surface (wood, linoleum, or concrete).
2. Place a piece of blank paper under a front paw.
3. Lift the dog’s other front paw so that its weight is placed firmly on the paw being measured.
4. Mark the paper at the paw’s widest point on the left and right edges of the paw (see graphic).
5. Use a ruler to measure the width of the paw (in inches) from the left mark to the right mark.
6. Use the chart to determine the proper size. For example: if the width is measured between 2.25" and 2.5" (57-64 mm), the dog would wear a small boot; between 2.75" and 3.0" (70-76 mm), a large.

They stay on well and the rubber last a longer time.

The boots look sturdy and well made, but the extra-small was still too big for our pug, so I had to return them.

The Skyliner boots are great because our dog's paw is long and narrow so most boots come off when he shakes the snow/water off of himself. The boots are hard to get on, but might get easier with more use - we'll see. The boots do stay on his feet very well - which is the key factor for us.

We use them almost daily for our walks (2+ miles). My dog was getting stickers in her paws this protects them and is easy for her to walk in.

It was hilarious watching my Weimar in these for the first time, but after a few minutes he didn't act like he even had them on. He seems to be quite comfortable with the rubber soles and the fit. I could especially tell he enjoyed them on the first frosty morning with them, he walked on the grass and gave me this look like he got what these were for, not just to look cute. The only con I have is that he loves to run and I have to keep an eye to make sure they don't roll around, but that is only after extreme off leash running, after all he is a hyper Weimar. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.
