Our dog, a Weimaraner eats like it is going out of style, until we got this anti-bloat bowl. This bowl has slowed him down at least 40% than before. Thank goodness!!!

Our German shepherd pup used to inhale his food. This bowl slows him down to an appropriate pace. It is light weight and would tend to slide around a lot, but we purchased rubber-backed carpet mats to put under our dogs' bowls (we have 2 GSDs)and the bowl does not slide on the carpet mat. Problem solved. Cleans easily in the dishwasher, but usually he licks the bowl clean. We feed dry food only; not sure how it would be with moist food.

15 month old Weimaraner who used to eat all his food in under 1 minute now takes 3-4 minutes to eat. Yes, the bowl does slide around on the floor as others have stated, but it doesn't seem to bother him.

Both of our "Aussies" Ky & Yogi had terrible gas after they quickly ate their food. I heard about the anti bloat bowls from a friend who purchased from fetchdog and she had positive results. We literally had to leave the room after they ate it smelled so bad. Now that we have the anti bloat bowls there is absolutely NO GAS SMELL! I highly recommend these bowls. We can now have our family and friends visit again and breathe a sigh of relief after Ky & Yogi eat. Thank you fetchdog! DEB

I tried all sorts of things to slow my Golden down. She could eat her meal in a few seconds flat. This bowl works pretty well and I put some medium size rocks in the bowl also to really help slow her down. Good bowl. Does slide but I put it up on a couple flat round weighted containers and it works fine.I'd recommend this to anyone. I did use the medium size for the Golden and it was perfect.

The bowl was intentionally designed to slide around in order to further extend the time it takes dogs -- who love inhaling food - to eat. We almost lost our Golden Retriever to bloat when his stomach flipped, so all our dogs now eat from an anti-bloat bowl.

Bloat is a very serious thing that can happen to large dogs. I have two dogs that scarf their food down. I was always worrying about bloat. This bowl forces them to slow down when they eat.

Our two 3 year old Springer Spaniels are natural speed-eating champions. They seemed able to simply inhale their food and would then go to try to steal a bite more from our older dog.

The anti-bloat bowl has slowed them considerably. I am relieved to know that eating this way is better for them and certainly for our older dog too.
