Giving Good Correction While Dog Training

Remember the three ingredients of a good correction:

It must be seen as coming from the environment, not from you: the leash tug.

It causes a withdrawal of human interaction: yell at the object, not at the puppy.

Redirect his attention toward a displacement activity: "Get your BONE."
