When it comes to emergencies, prevention is always best.
- Always keep your dog on a leash and supervised when out of the house.
- Keep trash, poisons, choking hazards, and other dangers out of your dog’s reach.
- In the car, keep your dog confined, and never leave him in a car on a warm day, even with the windows cracked.
- Keep your dog safe from excessive cold and excessive heat.
- Make sure your dog always has enough water and feed him regularly.
- Pay attention to your dog so you can catch any problems before they get too serious!
