Poms can get protective, yappy, or nervous if they do not get exposed to lots of nice people and situations at a young age, and this tiny dog can get injured easily by a small child, but Poms make perfect pets for indulgent singles, seniors, and empty nesters who do not mind a little barking, a lot of personality, and a dog who loves more than anything to be carried around.
