The German Pinscher
"Hey, who shrunk your Doberman?" You might get tired of hearing cracks like this whenever you walk your German Pinscher down the street, and at first glance, the German Pinscher does look like a small Doberman Pinscher. But that is just because German Pinschers were used to create the Doberman, thank you very much. The German Pinscher is a much older breed and was chasing down rats in Germany long before the Doberman Pinscher was even a twinkle of an idea. In fact, German Pinschers have been used over the centuries to create several other popular breeds today, including the Miniature Schnauzer and the Miniature Pinscher. So much for that "shrunken Doberman" theory! You are walking a piece of history on the end of that leash. Tell that to the wisecrackers.
