Life Ring

Nelly and I just had a fabulous time playing out in the snow. (What is it about snow that makes dogs act like they just ate some Tabasco?) Actually, Nelly had most of the fun; I was simultaneously packing the car to go to the dump. In between bags, I'd toss this Life Ring for her to fetch--sometimes like a Frisbee, so it would sail far, and sometimes like a hoop, so it would bound across the hard crust of snow.

Nelly went nuts chasing after it. And of course when she got it she had to kill it. Growling, shaking, tossing it up and biting it hard. See that blur in the picture?  That's Nelly, attempting to assassinate this appropriately named Tuffie pet toy. But this thing is staying intact. It's built like a tank.

Can you say "ultimate tough toy"? I can say Nelly's met her match.
