Knot a Long Leash

My standard poodles, Bertie and Veronica, have relatively good leash manners on their own. But I like to walk them both at the same time, which is when these manners go out the window and I - literally - get tied in knots.

Something about being walked with their best poodle buddy puts my dogs in the mood for a game of Ring Around the Rosy. I am Rosy. Maybe I'm a leashed May Pole. Either way I'm annoyed.

Compounding my irritation, my poodles, who do their "pretend-I'm-at-Westminster" best to ignore every cat, squirrel, and other dog in their path when being walked solo, will compete to be first to greet every living thing we pass. So much for what I'd envisioned as a leisurely stroll.

But recently my pleasant walks have been saved by the Knot-a-Long Leash and Coupler, which allow me to walk both my dogs at once in an orderly fashion. The Knot-a-Long Leash and Coupler prevent Bertie and Veronica from wrapping me up on our daily walks, and its length - 30 inches for the leash and then another foot for each dog - is perfect for dual dog walking. Best yet, there's just a little bit of give in this leash, so if the dynamic duo decides to vault toward the friendly neighborhood Black Lab, shoulder is protected from the shock. I love the comfy handle, too.

All in all, the Knot-a-Long Leash has made walk-time more fun for me - although Bertie and Veronica probably miss their games of Ring Around the Rosy.
