Double Tugger

Snap. Pop. Rip.

These are familiar sounds to the owner of a tug-happy dog. Oh, those tuggy toys promise a long shelf life, but those toys do not know the jaws of my dog. Or yours. Fetch, tug, rip - those are my dog Faith's three steps to paradise. On the one hand, thanks to her awesome shredding talents, Faith has managed to double the number of toys she has without spending a cent. On the other hand, it's hard to play tug-of-war or fetch with a tiny scrap of fabric.

The designers of the Double Tugger have answered this design challenge with a response that would thrill Tim Gunn: they've made a long, double loop tug toy out of ... fire hose material! So smart - if your toy can survive deadly fire and smoke, it surely can handle a few canine teeth.

Thanks to the size and weight of this durable toy, it's also great for playing fetch. Durable and washable, it's got just the right proportions for hurling across some damp grass on a rainy spring day, and watching your dog return the Double Tugger to you - still intact.

And how lovely to have a non-shredded toy left to play with another day.
