Cool ideas for hot dogs

To heck with hot fun in the summertime.  Your dogs could use some cool fun.  After all, how would you feel if you had to wear a fur coat in the middle of July?

Fortunately, FetchDog.com has plenty of ways for your dogs to chill out.  For starters, what could be cooler (literally) thank the Ice Lick?  Fill the bucket mold with water, toss in a few of your pooch's favorite toys or treats, freeze and place on the base for hours of frosty enjoyment.  It's like a giant dogsicle.

The Auto-Fresh Fountain is a wonderful alternative to an outdoor water bowl, which inevitably heats up in the sun.  This battery-powered device turns your outdoor spigot into a fountain for dogs.  A water-saving sensor turns the fountain on only when your dog is in range - cool.  And fresh.

Sure, you love lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun in a chaise lounge.  Now your best friend can too with the Camp Cot Outdoor Bed.  This portable dog bed is constructed like a miniature lawn chair, with powder-coated legs that keep the bed off the ground, allowing cool air to circulate underneath.  Adorable and practical.

If your dog would rather sit inside than deal with the heat, you might consider the Canine Cooler Therapeutic Dog Bed.  This fluid-enhanced bed (think cold pack for dogs) gives your dog a refreshing place to relax.  Even better, the cooling material relieves soreness in older, achy dogs.

It may seem counterintuitive to put a coat on your dog in the summer, but when it's the Swamp Cooler Vest, it makes sense.  Perfect for active dogs, this three-layer vest stores water (soak before wearing and replenish as needed) and reflects sunlight, keeping your dog cool, calm and collected - even at high noon.

With all these options, it's easy to turn your hot dog into a chilly dog.  Hold the mustard.

Ice Lick Dog Toy: Summer heat can be inescapable for your dog- especially under a thick fur coat.  Fortunately, our Ice Lick provides cool relief and irresistible fun.  Simply freeze his favorite treats and dog toys into the bucket mold, insert the base in your lawn and let your dog chill out all summer long.  Let your dog cool off with a mission using the convenient Ice Lick.

Canine Cooler Therapeutic Dog Bed: This orthopedic dog bed's ingenious fluid-enhanced design gives your pet a relaxing cool spot when things get hot.  This cooling dog bed provides support for senior dogs with hip problems, achy joints or calluses.  Puncture resistant cover. Not recommended for use in direct sunlight.  Not recommended for heavy chewers.  For your dog, the Canine Cooler Therapeutic Dog Bed is an oasis of comfort.
