We're big dog-lovers here at FetchDog, so when we threw a big party recently, the invites said BYOD - Bring Your Own Dog.  Hundreds of people and dozens of dogs attended the celebration at our Portland, Maine headquarters.

The dogs were well-behaved and well-controlled.  Why?  Because we asked everyone to keep their dogs on a leash.  Dog leashes are always a good idea outside, but they're also a great idea inside when there are a lot of people, many other dogs, and tables of yummy people food to explore.

Some dog owners kept their dogs close by using traffic dog leads, including the Techno Leash.  One smart dog mom kept both her hands free for food and drink by "wearing" her dog on a Roamer Hands Free Leash around her waist.

We spotted one or two dogs in Gentle Leader Head Collars.  We're guessing they might have been pulling their people all over the room without these super dog training collars.

Between the rainbow of dog leashes and all the beautiful dog collars in the room, the dog guests were a colorful and well-behaved bunch.  Most of the dogs arrived on their leashes - but a few of the smaller guests arrived in style in dog carriers like this sporty Messenger Bag Dog Carrier.

All the dogs were lucky on their way out the door.  They were presented with goody bags of dog treats to reward them for their good behavior.

Jumping Buster... Jump, Jump, Jump... Can someone please help with my dogs jumping. Jumping up onto anyone or anything that he likes or thats moving; as in cars, people, patio furniture, potting bench, four-wheelers, anything, it all looks like fun to him. He is a 2 and 1/2 years old and an Australian Shepherd and a very well behaved guy for the most part. He definitely loves attention, mostly (or only) from people!! His favorite activity is to just sit next to you, so you can pet him, continuously!! If you stop, he will use his nose to move your arm back to petting him, OK, so he's a bit spoiled. Trying to play fetch with him is just aggravating, he knows what you are saying and what he is to do with the toy, but he prefers to run after the toy, look at it and run right back to you, mouth empty! Basically you are playing fetch with yourself and I also think he is the only dog I have ever met that could care less for a frisbee. I have tried and tried but he just watches the frisbee fly by, almost like he enjoys it, or he is confused, but he's not fooling anyone, he knows exactly what to do and just doesn't.
