Chews Wisely

When Stella arrived on the scene, all pointy ears and razor-sharp teeth, my heart melted.  I had never seen a Belgian Malinois before, and it was love at first sight.

Unfortunately it wasn't love at first bite.  Not to worry - she didn't sink her teeth into my skin.  Her tastes were far more sophisticated than that.  Instead, my 8-week-old puppy wanted to nibble on driving mocs and sassy flats, high boots and strappy sandals.

Like her mother, Stella's appetite for shoes was nearly insatiable.  Not only did she take a bite out of my footwear wardrobe, she also took a bite out of my wallet with all those trips to the cobbler and the shoe store for replacements.

All of this could have been avoided had we known about the Soft Chew Puppy Set.  Not only are they made specifically for puppy teeth, they're almost as adorable as those peep toe pumps Stella munched.

Almost.

The Squirrel Dude is particularly cute and the Twist 'n Treat disk is sure to be a favorite - hide treats or kibble inside and your dog will need to figure out how to get them out.  Good for teeth and the mind.

There's even a little tug toy called the Waggle.  And trust me, it will be way more fun playing tug-of-war with one of these than a pair of stilettos.
