Bark or Treat

I'm not going to deny it. When it comes to holidays, I'm a total Halloweenie. And so are my sweet girls, Stella and Cassidy.

Since Stella is a Belgian Malinois and Cassidy is a Golden Retriever mix, they're a little big for most dog costumes. But that doesn't stop any of us from drooling over the adorable Uncowardly Lion, Dogflower Power, and Funky Monkey getups on FetchDog.com. These dog costumes would brighten the day of any trick-or-treater who came to the house.

Equally cute are the Howl-o-ween Dog Leash and matching Dog Collar. These are made with strong nylon webbing - perfect for big dogs. But they're also covered with an adorable ribbon embroidered with a pattern of black cats, jack-o-lanterns, candy corn and witch hats. Boo-yeah!

Normally, I give each of the girls a Halloween-themed bandanna and call it good, but this year, the festive Halloween Party Dog Collar could just change my mind. Available in both a pumpkin and a skull and crossbones theme, these collars are so over the top, they make Lady GaGa's accessories look tame. But I love them. These beribboned, confetti-laden collars are like pompoms for the neck. They're so cute, it's scary.
