Brooklyn boarding facility unleashes fundraiser to benefit Dog Habitat Rescue

After a stay-cation at the New York boarding facility Unleash Brooklyn, most dogs are reluctant to go home. The guests quickly get used to a fun routine of all-day aerobic playing and socializing, followed by a good night's rest on dreamy dog beds just like these.
 
But a few of Unleash Brooklyn's pampered guests actually can't wait to go home - they're the adoptable dogs rescued by Dog Habitat, the in-house non-profit, which is a member of the prestigious Mayor's Alliance for New York City's Animals.
 
To raise funds for the rescue dogs' continued care and feeding, Unleash Brooklyn is hosting a Casino Night event next Wednesday evening, August 4. Registration is at 7:30 p.m. and the festivities start at 8 p.m.
 
The featured game is "Poker Unleashed," a Texas Hold 'Em tournament. Players must pre-register by
emailing pokerunleashed@gmail.com; the buy-in is $50 or $100. Sorry, no card-playing dogs; human game hounds only, please.
