Balto feels left out, just because he's half wolf. But this is how Balto proves himself a hero; if Balto wasn't there, kids would have died all over town. And here's a secret: when I watch a movie, I imagine all the characters as my friends. In this one, I feel like I AM Balto.

Have you ever had one of those dreams where you're falling? Well, here one comes to life. They show real cliff-hangers. The most 'you-can-do-it' part is where the sled almost falls off a cliff but for one little twig!

The reason I like this movie is because it's exciting. You can feel the sled shaking, and the rumbling of the dogs' feet. The competition is very fierce. And when they meet danger so many times, THAT'S scary. Plus, it makes me almost tired to watch them pull that sled so far through the snow.

The moral of the story is that someone you didn't trust can turn out better than that.
